Favourite AMVs

Man, finding this AMV a few weeks back sent me on a major nostalgia trip. It's not strictly the music (though I do have an uncommon appreciation for pop), but 2009's the first year I can remember past muddied fragments, and marked the point where a lotta things in my life changed for the better.

In a very practical sense, these songs formed the backdrop of my earliest memories! It's nice to see them preserved like this. ^^

Do VGMVs count? I swear, this could be the trailer to a movie or somethin'.

This has got to be the most technically-impressive AMV* I've ever laid eyes on. It's one thing to be a maestro at After Effects, but actually breaking out the 3D modeling kit and staging a naval battle? If I could, I'd give the author a solid gold medal.

I've watched this literally four to six times every day since the start of the week. Then again, I suppose there are worse songs to have stuck in your head. ^^

I think what makes this one fit so well is that at times it sounds like something Shiro Sagisu himself would make.

First time an AMV has ever sold me on an anime I haven't watched yet. It's also the first one that went beyond being just synced up really well and made me feel something.
