These are the community guidelines for smug.love. They aren't exhaustive. If something isn't listed but is obviously a bad idea, it's still a bad idea. Use common sense.
The hard lines
Breaking these gets you banned, usually without a warning.
- No loli/shota or any sexualized content of minors. This includes drawn, AI-generated, and "actually 1000 years old" characters.
- No illegal content, and no explicit content of real people without their consent.
- No doxxing. Don't post anyone's personal or real-world info.
- No attacks on the site or its members (hacking, phishing, malware).
Be decent
smug.love is is intended to be a community where anyone can feel at home. Disagreement is fine, but these aren't:
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other bigotry
- Harassment, or targeting a member to upset them
- Excessive trolling and flaming
NSFW
- You must be 18+ to view or post NSFW content.
- NSFW content stays in the NSFW category.
- No NSFW avatars, profile backgrounds, or signatures.
Posting quality
We prefer quality over quantity.
- Stay on topic. Shitposting belongs in Lounge and Spam only.
- Use spoilers for anything currently airing or recently released.
- No spam, low effort post padding, or necroposting for no reason.
Advertising
Don't advertise without permission. We don't spam other sites, so please give us the same respect. If you think your site and smug.love would benefit from affiliating, message @clare.
Accounts
- One account per person. Making alts to dodge a ban gets every account banned.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious it is, you'll get a warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban. Hard-line violations skip straight to a ban. If you think a call was wrong, message @clare.
