osu! LEWD - v1.1

Right. I'll focus on that after Endurance Project. Seriously didn't think the skin would be actually played with.

I liked a fair amount of the frills you had on it.  Will link you some other good skins (imo)

Edit: So today I purged most of my skins.  These are the skins that remain, the best of the best.  This list is alphabetically sorted:

An ordered list from best to worst:

  1. Falbere Glow (best)

  2. Dimi's Sheba Remake

  3. steampowered! [v1.1]

  4. -Riesu (Would say this is actually tied with Lewd!

  5. Lewd! (home grown)

  6. Orbit HD

  7. fartownik

  8. Nilsso

  9. Soda v1.5 Numbers

  10. Luminance - Fluorescence

Falbere Glow: Basically a 'best of'; everything I want to see in a skin.

Dimi's Sheba Remake: My only issue with this skin is the lack of distinct combo colors.

steampowered: The only thing stopping this from being tied for #2 is the wonky steam-esque sounds on the menu.

-Riesu: Interesting combo colors, but probably not the easiest to focus on while trying to stream.

Lewd!: My thoughts on this skin should already be fairly well documented, but my biggest difficulty with this skin is my occasional inability to figure out which circle is next to be clicked.  This could be fairly easily fixed by using realish numbers instead of dots.  At least its not hiragana.  I recommend a good hard look at what the top 3 skins here do during map play.  Totally ignore #3's menu, it sux.  Lewd! has the second best menu after Dimi's Sheba Remake.  Soda's menu isn't bad either.

Orbit HD: A single-color combo skin that manages to keep circles distinct.  Has a very distinct circle style compared to the rest of the skins here.  The brightness sometimes messes with my concentration while playing.

fartownik: Another single color combo skin that attempts to be distinct, except it uses a thick silver border instead of Orbit's approach.  Don't like the combination of Orange and Silver, but don't lose focus as much as I do in Orbit.  Consider them tied.

Nilsso: This skin differs from the others based more on the cursor than the circles, although the circles are a bit different as well.  The cursor is one of the biggest yet, with a red ring around a blue 'normal looking' cursor.  The hitsound is also radically different than any of the others on this list.  Not always a good thing, though.

Soda v1.5 Numbers: This skin has the nicest overall sounding hitsound of the bunch, but the spinner sound leaves a lot to be desired.  Has dynamic elements in the circle, which is an absolute no-no from me.  The only reason this doesn't come in last is because Luminance is on this list somehow.

Luminance: Has the weirdest hitcolors on this list.  Supposedly scientifically chosen to reduce brightness to its absolute minimum required.  An unfortunate side-effect makes this skin un-fun to play on.  Only useful at night if you can't have a backlight on for some reason, which is why this skin made it on this list.

HONORABLE MENTION: MGS v7

I'm gonna guess that the endurance project is another fap hero right?

@Senpai: Yes, it is. Probably the biggest project yet, unintentionally 69 minutes long. The goal of this one will be not to 'win', but hold out as long as possible - with a fitting timer. Trying to make something original, as my stuff is constantly compared to others' like Bastati or SAX which frankly pisses me off. I mean the two in question are chill people and I like them, but man, do the anons whine a lot.

@[deleted]: I read through it, I'll see what I can do. I'll probably focus on 1.1 before 2.0, so the next update will cover mainly osu!std aspects instead of bringing other modes to it. That said, Endurance Project comes first, and it'll probably take until June to finish it.

Yeah, (finally) the 1.1 update is out. For the changelog and downloads, check the OP.

@[deleted]: I have played on all the skins you have linked and shaped the skin accordingly. However, one thing to note, is that most, if not all, of the skins you linked are extremely simplistic/minimalistic/technical. The Lewd skin is somewhat on a contrary - more artistic than that. I made sure to reshape it so that it's easier to play harder maps on it, but I won't be making it 100% technical. So it's not ever going to be 100% 'pro' skin, usable on all maps from easy-mode aLIEz to beyond comprehension The Big Black. Feel free to change it to your liking, though.

EDIT: To anyone who finds this thread past the post date - nevermind, the skin is now discontinued. I'm dropping any sort of works I had going and 1.1 can now successfully be considered 'final', despite all the flaws and limited gamemode support. Also cya lewd won't be comin here anymore good luck in the future and whatever

Wasn't honestly expecting you to do so.

Got a bit of sit-down time with the skin today, it's a definite improvement over the 1.0 version. There's still a rogue hitsound that echoes but it's a lot less annoying, at least with the songs I've been playing recently.

Yeah, that website died a long time ago. I don't personally have the skin though, unfortunately.
