I'm pretty out of it thanks to my migraine, so I'm not sure how much I can convey. But I'm pretty happy with myself for finally setting up a dual-system in my PC case. It's still unfineshed, so I'll post pics when I get it done, someday...

I'm really tired, though. =w=

Stupid migraines >:T

That does sound really cool though! I hope you get it done soon~

Thaanks love~. The hard part's done, but I'm not in a hurry. Especially since my thoughts while browsing have gone from "Man, I wish I had a quieter graphics card", to, "Man, I wish I could buy the mouse my perfectly-functional Chinese knockoff is based off. Maybe then, I could sync it up with MSI's shitty Mystic Light software". I'm sure you know the feel. ^^'7

Restless. Yesterday I handed in my final seminar paper for this semester. After a stressful couple of weeks I suddenly don't know what to do with my free time... ^_^;

I think the traditional thing to do is to go out drinking~ Good job!

Good idea! I don't think I'll go out today, but I guess I'll at least open one or two beers

. :3

Tired. Happy though. I had to use double my current dose of emergency meds, but my migraines appear to finally have receded after a rough start to the week. Now to just keep this up...

I've always found the best way to handle free time is to ease into it bit by bit. Start by doing the things you wanted to do while studying. Play some games or listen to some music, or finish that interesting e-documentary you never got to complete. After that, the sky's the limit, honestly. ^^

Ah, but waitasec! "Final seminar"... Does that mean you're finished with university? 😃

Yeah, I started the day with playing some Team Fortress 2. Haven't played it in ages, but it's nice to see that I still got some skills left. I used to play it competetively all throughout high school.

"Final seminar for this semester" 🙂 I'm nearing completion of my Masters though. Got two exams left in April and then one more lecture next semester + Masters thesis, so I should be finished around October/November.

Professors keep telling me I should do a PhD afterwards, but I'm not sure yet. The Masters was already pretty stressful and I want to start earning some money... ^_^ Well, I'll have to make some decisions in the coming months.

Oh my, a PhD! That would be cool, but... it does require the motivation to be able to work on the same thing constantly for years. That's why I personally didn't even consider doing one >~<

Well, I was getting better a week ago. But now, in some sort of sick, selfish way, it feels like the world's conspiring against my happiness.

Oh no :< What happened, Loko?

Oh, well to be honest, now it's practically nothing now compared to my uni switching to all-online classes and all. I'm just in a state of "bruh"

Ehehe ^_^' Keep at it, things can only get better~

Well, it's five days after complaining that I feel "restless" and I am already in full on potato mode ^__^

This new virus thing is already beginning to disrupt my normal life and routine into "hygiene control mode", it actually waits for me very patiently to break down psychologically and emotionally so that it can start invading my immune system right where it hurts. The same could be said for the economies of this world, it waits for us to come outside and fight for whatever resources we got when the money sinks in fast enough for a global depression declaration so that the virus can take hold of affected countries. This virus is like a present-day smart player comparable to that of the Middle Ages' bubonic plague, and is not screwing around despite the UN's stressing of the word "pandemic" declaration.

COVID-19 can knock me around on the sidelines it wants, but it will not get in the way of my sheer willpower and family support on my side. It has not even got near my county yet. I had faced previous scenarios with Swine, influenza, fevers and even whooping/hacking coughs at some point over the years, but my body should at least be tolerant enough to kick COVID-19 right in the shell despite the no guarantee option. This very soul within me is too precious to corrupt, because it can recognize these familiar mild symptoms.

I already tripled my isolation efforts to hunker down as with @[deleted], but I can't be sure how long this waiting game the virus been lurking around is going to take.

Feeling better than I have in the past few weeks, honestly. I became very depressed spending most (usually all) of my day at home, but I think I'm finally content in this isolation. It's still hard to find things, and virus outbreaks keep cropping up all around me, but I should be safe if I stick at home and order everything through the postal service.

i'm tired and stressed because my workload has decidedly tripled thanks to professors believing taking classes online means more stuff to just shove on my desk and be done with it

That sucks 🙁 Are they just assuming that no other classes are running at all or something?

No idea, but I'm just trying to keep my head above water at this point lol

That's outrageous, though. Surely the other students are feelin' the heat? A combined complaint might change the tide. =\

This quarantine has me at the end of my goddamn rope with my mom. She's constantly hot and cold, yelling at me one moment, expecting me to forget is by the next. Just under forty-eight hours ago, I collapsed from exhaustion in the dead of night because you forced me to mop almost the entire ground floor, and every day since you've done nothing but insult me for nearly injuring myself sleepwalking. And somehow now, you want to wish me a happy birthday?

Go to hell, you stupid bitch.

It's your mom lol, be kind....

Don't think this is sending the right type of message tbh. Just being nice to your family members even if they treat you like absolute shit is not the answer

I was thinking the same thing. Although especially now, tensions are probably higher than they would normally be.

I feel you, 100%.

I used to be in a similar situation a few years. I had been in a major depression and dropped out of university. In the end moved back home with my old man. His way of helping me was putting me to work right away, helping him with everything. Yeah well doing chores and crap. 8 to 7pm everyday. I drove me insane, angry and frustrated. And the longer we lived together the more on edge we were against each other.

In the end, I had enough. Packed my backs and left. Moved to another town and got a job. Best thing I ever did. It was turbulent just to leave without saying a word. But once things settled down we all felt much better. Him too. These days were on good terms!

Back then, I was angry. But looking back, it was his way of helping me. If I didnt get any routine, I would just lay in bed all day.

Not saying your situation is similar man! Don't know how your life is. But if you're on the edge with her, I think you should try to gain some independence and gain space between each other. Move out if you can or strive for it. Or if you have any other family move there instead.

My 2 cents.

I almost have been thinking of starting my own little personal gaming site where I can create my own fanfic gaming stories and post my own strats, taking up inspiration from one of the greatest game modders with a sense of humor coming from Brazil. My self-learning on my Internet surfing over the last several months in Spanish (many Spanish mod sites), French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Mixmods), Russian (VK), Chinese (KanColle Ripoffs/Girls Frontline), Korean (Korean-based games), Indonesian (GTAInd and Gombolori), and Japanese (MMD, .JP modding blogs, KanColle, Niconico, Bowlroll, etc.) is good enough I now auto-translate them. That way, when I visit these places again, I won't be prompted to make auto-translations into these languages, though some parts of certain foreign sites cannot be fully translated, and thus no option of auto-translate would occur, forcing me to use Google Translate and try to make sense of it. At least I do know to an extent in the past how to set my PC's language.

Of course, I may have to wait until I get my PC formatted to Windows 10 and ramp up my PC's specs to meet today's standards, because while mine can handle some graphic mods and plenty of HD models going about their day with very little performance impact in FPS (Geez, what a beast), I might have to boost my RAM capacity if I have to go for high-RAM cost-to-benefit mods. The only thing that would get in my way when trying to get so many HD mods is whether the PC can handle it and even watched someone's "But can it run on GTA San Andreas?" and had a few good laughs here and there.

This is what happens when you effed up your modded game after you only modded just a little, totally unprepared, I know I once did when I first trying it out:

As you can see, this example image was on a GTA:SA 1.0 in its heyday with only few mods installed, notice how the game world underneath CJ begins to suffer a Blue Hell type glitch but without falling off and teleporting. That is because the amount of streaming the game can take in a vanilla state has hit the limit, and that limit is quite low, about no more than 13.5 MB, very understandable to fix. It only occurs when not in an interior, a common problem for unprepared beginners. Thanks to Silent in his early days of modding, this is usually amended up to a certain higher threshold until the coming of his Patch Mod with periodic updates, which completely removes that limit altogether among other bugs. I called this bug "The First Obstacle: Streaming Blue Hell Glitch". It will eventually crash your game if you continue playing the game in that state without quick intervention.
