What Brought You to Lewd?

My memory might serve me wrong, but I think I saw an ad on one of the chans (I think 4chan). I bookmarked the site and forgot about it until recently.

Used to be a member of CryptoWorld before it got shutdown, pretty sure @Melancholy was a user on there. Anyway, one of the owners of CW directed me here a few days ago.

Was using Nya.is for a while. Saw the shut-down message when they were going to shut down and it linked to here to give some more info. Ended up sticking around.

My first time was asked by Saku over anf over can't always refuse her. So joined stayed for a while though kinda just stayed in the discord as my group was a but of a failure.

2nd time was to participate in her forum games that now have been concluded. Decided to stay around, discord is lively again

I don't honestly recall. If I've posted in here previously then that is likely the answer.

Quite the contrary, I remember my first days quite well. I saw an ad on some godforsaken 8chan board for an "LGBT-friendly anime community", took a chance, found some nice topics, and the rest is history. I've never looked back since. ^^

Inconsequential aside
Interestingly enough though, I could swear that I visited lewd even earlier by pure chance. I was trying to decide between the Kawaii Codec Pack (KCP) and the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) for watching my anime with MadVR, and I distinctly recall a place with a relaxed dark theme and avatars on the left. I saw some familiar faces, @[deleted] in particular, opining about their varied preferences.

I'm sure I could've easily looked it up in my browser's history, but sadly my laptop from the time got merked in a car accident. I suppose it doesn't really matter though, huh?

Mentioned it in my intro thread: sushigirl affiliate link. Seems like most people got here through those same links on Sushi/lain/uboa or 4/8chan ads. Or discord.
