You'd probably love crystal then given how much it's inspired by those 3.

I'll learn it soon, but I think you're right, seems to be a likeable language.

Python, C, C++, ARM Assembly, x86[_64] Assembly andddddddddddd D.

yeah
d,
it's a great fucking language stfu

tbh I only know a bit of C, I'm not that into programming as much as I'm into computer science, but everyone I've talked to about Haskell says it's a great language, and the community surrounding it seems nice and helpful, so I've been looking into it a bit.

How would you compare Haskell to Python?

Well, for one, I don't think that Python is a functional language.

I hate Java but I'm taking a class in it (don't ask me why).

I usually just build web apps with Node and React.js

Gonna be figuring out how to program an ARM microcontroller pretty soon. I'll be using C 🙂

i worked on a MUD in batch for a while then lost motivation
i was making an RPG in python but ran into roadblocks, there were too many hoops to jump through, and i lost motivation
verdict: i don't fucking know

Cool guy
I haven't programmed on an ARM system since like 2007. I hear it's a lot different now than it was then.

the one I was using was the gameboy advance btw 🙂

I didn't know arm even existed when the gba was a thing!

Since the 80s, I think! The gba had an ARM7 CPU

Oh wow, you're right!

I am sentimental towards Python but like Javascript and C, as well!

You know, maybe Angular and I got off on the wrong foot. In fact, I'll bet it'd be perfect for rebuilding my personal website someday. I just wish I had more time to learn it.

My current stack for flyingpancake looks like this:

MongoDB
Express.js
Angular 5
Node.js
SQL

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty happy with how JavaScript has become a sort of lingua franca for web development, and nowadays even desktop and mobile apps. The documentation still isn't there, and the education you need is usually tucked away in an online course or paid eBook, but once you've got a grasp of how all the moving parts mesh together, it's much easier to build the website of your dreams.
