What did you eat today?

Posts

I ate a lot of pancakes and now my stomach hurts >_<'

Y'know, I really wish I'd bought some kippers earlier today. They'd be so great right now.

a month later

apparently 1 date contains 14% of a person's daily sugar intake... oops

Just helped myself to a "Matjesbrötchen" (bread roll with soused herring and some onions). Probably one of my favourite comfort foods. Yum!

That both looks and sounds absolutely delicious! It's a pity they don't sell sandwiches like that here, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. ^^

Me, myself, I'm actually having what they call a "Meatless Meat-Lover's Pizza", topped with imitation pepperoni, sausage, and cheese made out of cassava flour. It's not actually any healthier than a traditional pizza, but I'd reckon you only live once.

Edit: Augh... That was the worst pizza I've ever tasted. 6/10, would not do again. >_<

When I visited Amsterdam and The Hague with my dad last year I tried the famed Dutch raw herring sandwich and it was soooo good. It basically looked like that but more hot dog than sandwich and with pickles instead of onions. I think there was mayo on it too. AAAA I want to eat one again right now.

But living in Japan, I think the two foods I miss most are buffalo wings and philly cheese steaks. Japanese burgers are great and their pizza isn't as good but it does the job. But those two things I haven't been able to satisfy my craving for. Maybe I should go to the Hooters here for wings...

I tried to make a Japanese curry, but the sauce block box completely misled me as to the cooking time and procedure of the sauce >.<'

I have made apple fritters with raisins and eaten them. They were very good and sweet, even without sugar. recipe: (I added cinnamon and replaced the ale with beer)

Not being able to eat apples ^^ Though I suppose having an allergic reaction can't be pleasant either.

It wasn't super bad. It would just make my mouth, throat, and ears itch like crazy. But that was enough to make me not miss them

That's pretty bad in my book^^ good that you're over it now; are you going through all the recipes with apples in them now?

Tagliatelle with green asparagus and salmon. Mhhhh, asparagus season is the best season...

Recipes~? You overestimate my desire to cook, my friend~ I actually never had a problem with cooked apples - only raw ones would produce a reaction

I'm not the biggest fan of asparagus. Not that I don't like it, I just don't see what all the fuss is about!

Speaking of yesterday, I'm not sure what I ate, but I really wanna die rn

Found myself sleepwalkin' again last night, ended up eating an entire bag of Lay's potato chips. No regrets.
