So weird how productive I've been today, all while waiting for something

I finally messaged my old friend after two years and we talked for a while but I don't really know if he was enthusiastic at all about the reconnection. It could have just been out of courtesy. I have a feeling that the "renewed friendship" will just fade away and die again. It's not like I can expect things to be the same after all this time. But it's just how things are :")

There's this one guy in my Discord that's a total tryhard in school. As in, they once badmouthed people just because they were stuck in remedial classes. He's gonna be in for a helluva time once he gets a job.

There's this one guy in my Discord that's a total tryhard in school. As in, they once badmouthed people just because they were stuck in remedial classes. He's gonna be in for a helluva time once he gets a job. 

I wouldn't be so sure~ people change quite a bit after leaving school from what I've seen, especially past the point where remidial classes are really a thing.

Might be tryin' somethin' new these next few days. Ever since I started hurting too much for daily VR Chat, I've kinda lost all my conversational skills - The, ah, shrill and semi-coherent pidgin I use to communicate housework with my mom, notwithstanding. I can't let that happen, so I reckon I might try verbally saying somethin' before I type it here on the forum, or on Discord.

It ain't gonna be easy, but I'm hopin' I can get my Southern accent back someday. I really do miss that... ^_^

My dad has one but I didn't develop it. I suppose some pieces may arise in my speech rarely

Now that I'm done with school I can finally watch  anime again. I'm going to rewatch railgun in preparation of season 3

Meanwhile, somehow it seems like Japanese always try to do a BAHSTAHN/NEW YOHKAH loudmouth type of voice whenever they try to sound like an American. I wonder why that is.

I'm from Texas originally but from a big city so I didn't pick up many southern accent traits, but I have family who have it. My dad also says the days of the week like "Mondee," "Tuesdee," "Wednesdee," etc. I used to say "y'all" but stopped it intentionally because people made fun of me for it when I went to other parts of the US D: But sometimes little things pop out. I still pronounce "cement" as "SEMENt" instead of ".SUH-MINT" which never fails to get a laugh.

Maybe it's familiarity with Texas but I like the Appalachian southern accent a lot more than the country Texas one or the confederate Dixie one. It sounds very exotic and rich.
