Random thoughts thread

So a couple of days ago, apparently a bird shat on my head while I was out for a walk. The odd thing is, I did notice it hitting me, but then I thought that whatever it was that had hit me just bounced off. I didn't feel any extra weight on my head, and I felt nothing running my hand over my hair. Didn't think anymore of it until my shower later that evening 😐

I confess i used to have some really messed up ideas about politics until some years ago, like people people of certain groups should have less rights and independent media is useless and shouldn't exist, I thought countries like nazi germany, mussolini's italy, the soviet union and north korea were role models of what a country should be like, I don't blame myself because I was only repeating what nearly all my peers and relatives said

It's a real shame to feel distracted by a pandemic when people are supposed to mourn for the losses of those who served them only to be reminded not to gather around in public.

In other words outside of this, despite my ideas' quality especially with my CTF, I don't feel that being going anywhere. Tried to get it going again but feel distracted by other potential ideas thrown around in my head for weeks. I can try restarting the CTF tournament thread one more time and extend the deadline, but that would mean resetting the seeds and the locations. And if that doesn't work, well, then I might try it in Nationstates instead, since there is quite more activity lately with people forced to stay at their homes.

It is only a matter of months before I'll officially retire from NationStates, just have to deal with N-Day and Z-Day one last time and to get my newest region into at least 10-20 residents with a Delegate position that I can trust in the event I'm away for good as my final goals. Retirement phase from the game will begin around early November and if Waifu Labs doesn't get updated by then as well as no alternative official image hosting site is found, then I'll have to retire from here by the end of this year.

As one of the very few active people left in this place, down to me, @[deleted], @Angel, @[deleted], @Loko, @[deleted], and @[deleted], I feel like we're on the verge of collapsing and about to migrate somewhere else, hanging on in bare strings. Even worse, this place hasn't been fixed to its pre-switch state at all, only that it is still running fine, that is.

I been doing quite ok on and off this place, but eventually with so little activity with a few occasional spikes here and there, I almost feel as lonely as the site itself, dark, aging, and almost look like an empty hall staring back into the abyss.

YouTube joined Twitch in being dicks. Moderating offsite behavior shouldn't be a rule or ever added. People worried about isps taking over the net but now drama that you might not start over at twitter or Facebook can cost you your likelyhood  in youtube or twitch...that's some commie shit right there.

Just saw your post lucian D: had to be signed out to see as no one has added the ignored page and so cant unblock. 

We can always move somewhere else yes. But with current net climate, forums are a thing of the past and reddit isn't even a worthy replacement so there's no where D: but stay with us ad much as you feel you can muster. Won't be the same without you. I'm sure many can agree that the old site should of stayed till this one wasn't as broken as fallout 76. Hand in there <3 if not then I wish you the best qtie <3

My own personal banner from time to time as you access through this place will come and go, if you see it, that was me who made the banner to remember what I did when I played with @[deleted]. That will be the only means of what my presence has influence on this forum and for future generations if this place still lingers.

Yes, this is a rather tough decision for me, and certainly will be my last. Had the admin able to fix most of the problems right after the switch disclaimer, it would've been better and might bring back some much needed activity. But, alas, complications from the time the switch occurred up until now on @[deleted]'s life has somewhat caused many of our other old friends like @All in One, @[deleted], etc. not coming back with their own routines. Last couple of weeks ago, I made two more banners specifically for them for my time being spent with those two.

My true signing out for good won't come until the end of this year. But for NationStates, I'll retire from that game right after Z-Day, which is early November. This is to prepare me to say my goodbyes to all the political drama and the loneliness and to start seeking out new sites for new enjoyment. I won't stop modding my games long after I'm gone, because I will always find ways to enjoy myself in quarantine.

And sadly for you, especially, for being unable to see me face to face, and to some others, of my past tsundere attitude, but it is my free-spirited personality as a Cancerian to let out all the emotion like an umbrella. That was the young self of me ready to transition into the more matured self with everything learned from others' feelings towards me. In the end, because of this site's functionality already declining to a point there's just so few of us now, abandoning the Lewd Kingdom for new prospects for me is the way to go. But, I won't go out without a bang yet. Not without some sort of revolution against the Lewd Kingdom, the very place I cherished it for three long years. Not without some sort of big change.

Revolution is coming to this place, and I can feel it coming to us, it's only a matter of time. And then, when it all is settled, I will already be out into the sunset, not looking back.

That is how I will end my long journey in here, it won't end peacefully.

I'll just stick around a little longer from today until December this year, if Waifu Labs didn't get full-body update or close to it from the studio based in San Francisco which is now experiencing odd orange skies. Too bad Imgur is no longer accessible to me due to having adblock now being detected, so I have to use ImgBB temporarily until I find a really good one. I'll retire from NationStates around Election Day but need time to say goodbye to so many people there I met.

That won't stop me from modding my games, though, I'm still looking forward to bring new enjoyment for myself, and yes, I'm already being safe inside, for years. 🙂

Yeah. To be fair, I've seen communities die with much more going for them, so I think we've done pretty well! Perhaps the current owners will regain interest in the forum at some point, but for now, who knows~
