I lost my job, i was tired though. I worked a year and a half straight with little to no time for rest.

With all the dust and dirt that gets on bees collecting pollen, honey has no right to taste so good.

As appreciative as I am that my mother integrated perfectly into American society, she still occasionally reminds me that she was born a village girl.

Just a few moments ago, she became genuinely distressed that I'd spent a twenty my estranged father gave me as holiday money. After a good minute of flailing her arms about, I finally got her to admit she felt it was cursed. Yeah, really.

I ended up taking another twenty from my room and passing it off as the offending banknote. She seemed much happier after I exchanged it with her for one of her own.

Yeah, lots of South Asian immigrants genuinely believe in curses; the oldest actually still believe in magic and evil spirits. So if you accept a gift from someone you don't like, you'll get very sick, or lose your job, or something.

To avoid the curse, she made me put it in the jar of spare cash we give to charity every so often. Don't ask. 'Cuz I don't know.

FM Radio used to be the thing you listened to when you were tired of repeating the same songs.
What happened?

I reckon it's something to do with record labels enforcing some sort of minimum play count or something when they license their music to the stations. So they can't play much else because they have to keep playing the same stuff over and over again to meet the quota.

Commercialism: Not Even Once.
Lucky lewd is all about the people, not the money.
Yet. :^)

Sometimes I like to tune the radio to near or complete static, listen really closely and try to pick out words. Then I write the words on my skin, usually my thigh or something. They're mostly not nice words. I hear "kill yourself" and "you deserved it" a lot. Also lots of people screaming for help.

I don't really know why I do it. I'd say I feel like it calms me down, but that's not always the case; other times it just upsets me. If I had to guess it's just a way of introspection and something to pass the time.

It's probably fine.

More like signs of depression. @Apophany, I really hope you're alright.

Why does the internet seem to hate fat people?

Out of all the irrational hatreds the internet reinforces, this one seems the most idiotic and trivial. If they're not annoying or hurting anybody, who ought to even care?

Most of them, related fat=geek. Dunno what going on though..

Sounds like aliens to me, but depression also isn't out.
