What made you smile today?

Not smile like happy/. But big booty on a yoga ball made me smile
Decided to rewatch the first episode of IS: Infinite Stratos today. Pretty much had me in stitches the whole time. ^^
I gotta say, the show's got a lotta charm for being an anime rom-com. I know Ichika (our MC) gets a lotta flak for being dense, but upon reflection I feel as if most of these complaints come from English speakers who watched the sub, and thus missed out on the intonation and nuance of a dub in their native language. He's obviously playing dumb (and it's even confirmed in one of the later light novels!), so by my mark it's rather refreshing to see a character who's genuinely disinterested in romance, isn't super-shy around girls, and not to mention, actually has the balls to stand up to people when they piss him off. Throw in the harem 'a psychotic broads he keeps waiting on him throughout the series, and the only logical explanation is that Ichika Orimura is a fucking pimp in schoolboy's clothing.
Also, his sister's a total babe, the worldbuilding ain't half bad, and the animation and soundtrack are gorgeous. As are scenes like these.
Rolling through my neighborhood at a walking pace, gazing with awe at everyone's Christmas lights while holiday music played on the radio. Taking a day to slow down and rest before my finals was the best decision I've made in weeks.
No enemy AI worm can save themselves from my own worm armies, now that Deathmatch mode is completed with Elite rank. <3
I have a lot of Nisiosin's light novels for read
Lucia Konohana, the current Empress of my empire is having a birthday, and she's back in action with new CG art! <3

D'awh, thanks! I've got my better days. ^^
That said though, I think I'm gonna swear off that site for a while. It's fun to make witty banter, but you've gotta tailor your posts for someone who might just shrug it off. Personally, I'd rather spend time with someone who appreciates my writing. c:

Today, I helped an elderly woman understand how to use her Android phone and connect with her family. It's nice to know you can make other people smile. ^^

Similar story incoming. I was sitting next to an elderly woman at the campus library. She definitely wasn't fluent in English, and she was getting frustrated with the computer. I offered my assistance and she explained, roughly, that she was trying to load "the skype" up so she could contact her granddaughter in California. I installed Skype, got it loaded up and everything and sent her on her way. I moved a few rows down so she and her granddaughter could have their privacy. After it was all said and done the lady came up to me and thanked me for helping her and that, that had been the first time she'd seen her granddaughter in a little over fifteen years. She was from Turkey and had just recently come over, her grandson set up a skype account for her to use to speak with her granddaughter, but she didn't have a computer. So she tagged along with her grandson, but he was at his classes and she decided to try.
The experience honestly made me week. As introverted as I am, I could've easily just ignored the situation. But, I offered my help and she got to speak with her granddaughter for the first time in years. I'm glad I was able to help her, it certainly is nice to know you can make other people smile or even make their days by helping them.

You're a good person, Seelroy-san. Perhaps you're not as introverted as you might think.
