It feels so strange to to have a day when I'm not constantly in pain. Between neuropathy and migraines, these last two weeks weeks were hell, and yesterday was a tour de force of agony. Yet today, things seem a bit better. There's finally a spring in my step, a smile on my face, and a lilt to the laughter that flows freely from my lips.

I'm actually happy, for once.... God, how I've missed these days. I'll miss them again once this medication wears off. But hopefully that won't be forever. Hopefully...

I'm glad to hear that you're doing well today 🙂 I hope this is par for the course for a long while!

I'm rooting for you 😃

Thank you, loves. I promise, I'll try my best. <3

I keep having weird asf dreams. I should probably start sleeping earlier.

Last morning I dreamt that some other planet or planetoid crashed into Earth. In the dream, I was lying in bed and was woken up by a loud crash and a intense rumbling. I could see the impact zone from my window at a great distance. It was acting like in Star Wars Rogue One when the Death Star shoots a weak laser at a planet and it just makes a giant shockwave that spreads out. The reason I can remember this all so vividly is because of how real the sense of dread was during the dream. It was a confrontation with certain, impending death and it was incredibly frightening. I don't think I've ever been quite as relieved to learn that I was only dreaming as I was with that one.

woah must have been a surreal experience. I would have felt the same. I'm relieved you were only dreaming too : )

Haah, that was some delicious pain. I stepped down my daily painkillers a tiny bit, and my joints felt like they were filled with sawdust. Dare I say, it was almost kinda fun... <3

Hiding in the bathroom at work right now, and some dude's literally brushing his teeth.

You gotta do what you gotta do, am I right?

I was going to say there was an issue on my end about trying to get in a couple of days ago, reached out to my friend in a telegram to relay my issue back here, but then later on I'm like never mind right now. O_O

I wasn't meant to be inactive, just had a bit of a misadventure.

They told me I was wasting my time ricing Linux and setting up shortcuts to save split-seconds, but thanks to that I managed to send an e-mail three seconds before the deadline! (≧∇≦)/

You are living a dangerous life 🙂 I would recommend start sending it a bit more early.

I made my thesis project staying up 3 days straight and sending in the project just an hour before deadline. Do not recommend, had to call in sick to actually fix it.
School... never again...

Took an unplanned nap earlier this evening, apparently one thst really screwed up my perception of time. As soon as I got up, the first thing I did was scramble to log into my employer's VPN in preparation for our morning meeting. It was only when I was ten minutes late and bracing for a reprimand, that I realized I was in the clear.

Honestly though, I think I need to go outside more often. I can't keep being a hikki like this every day. >_<'

Hehe, well, you were still late, so I'm not sure how in the clear you are. That being said, I'm usually late to log on as well, but one of the other guys in my team's status is almost always "Inactive x hours ago" when I do so, so I'm not too bothered.

Yeah, I think I'd go mad if I never went outside tbh. Though your state is pretty hard hit by the virus, so I understand why you might be more reluctant >_<

Breakfast at seven (PM)

Sounds a lot like my day, honestly. I like to maximize the effectiveness of my painkillers and caffeine, so I don't eat till around eleven, twelve, sometimes even three o'clock in the morning, after I take my final dose for the night. I'm sure it would catch up to me if I did this long-term, but... it's worked for me so far.

Still though~, I think there comes a point where one oughta draw a line in the sand. It's growing increasingly difficult to grasp reality beyond these two screens, increasingly easy to marry my consciousness to the machines I work with. I found myself wondering, "What does the sky look like, again?". I think I'll find out, tomorrow morning. ^^'

Once in a rather significant while (every month or so), typically when I've been burning the candle at both ends, I'll have these brief bouts of what I guess you could call psychosis, but are really more like very convincing daydreams. For about fifteen minutes last night, I could've sworn we got an email saying they shut down state offices for today, but that was just wishful thinking. >~<

A few days ago, I heard an actual, honest-to-god drag race happen somewhere on the other side of the woods behind my house. Late at night, two riced-up engines floored it down a long stretch of what was originally planned to be our town's main street.

Hey, at times like these, we all gotta get our kicks somehow. If no one gets hurt, you do you, man.

i found out all the people i work with believe in bizarre conspiracy theories, sometimes i wonder how i ended up in such workplace

Man, I bet that'd be so fun though! I'm not a huge fan of driving at night though.

The 5G is stopping you from seeing the truth.
