Anyone up for some Worms Armageddon?

Posts

It just indicates how likely my Worms team is going to take you out on any given match we played upon first turn to endgame. Knowing at first glance that @[deleted] definitely wants to rip apart any team whenever given the opportunity is a must for me to take him out before he can do any serious damage, followed by @[deleted] with tactical denial of others' chances of getting the next turn. AIO is still the wildcard in the middle, so nothing has changed with him, but we'll see, since RX prefers to play "darkside" until endgame to do the real work.

It could be that I saw your recent improvement in your timing of explosives and maybe the roping from watching the replays convinced me to bump you up just a little on my priority list. If you keep improving your skills overtime, eventually you will become almost an equal threat on the battlefield as much as AIO and Backlash, and I might have to do a double knockout in the fewest moves. The tutorials and singleplayer should help you hone in on all these key areas.

Tomorrow might be a hectic day, and Sunday's completely up in the air for me. I guess we'll hafta see how things pan out. ^^

I can't do games today, sorry. It might be due to preparing myself for the lunar eclipse in our area, I hope I won't go crazy this night.

Sooooo, are you ready up for this day's latest match or two, just let me know. <3

Shoot, I'm game! I'm probably super out-of-practice, but it'd be fun to chat and all. Let's say... Two hours from now? ^_^

I'm a bit stuffy on the nose, but sure, and don't worry about my health I can manage. 🙂

There's a bit of a problem not letting AIO and @[deleted] in, so I'm sorry, I just can't seem to get them on, have to look up somewhere to see what might be causing it.

Edit: Aha, that might be right from @[deleted], it was my firewall doing its job, so I allowed it again.

Ok guys, we made it through another week, and I now know that I checked my firewall status for this game that it is disabled so I let you all in this time.

Yet another week passing by us, and I woke up so late that I pushed back my lunch until four in the afternoon. Normally I eat lunch around this time, but since I stayed up all night, I took a short sleeping in rest.

m-maybe i'll give it a try another time >.<

We usually do this on Saturdays or Sundays depending on our moods, Worms is from the U.K. so we have to use their timezone as a means to stage our games. If you have it but you don't know how to, I recommend doing some time on training lessons to get you acquainted with the game as it doesn't give you actual control tutorials and then come up with a useful name for WORMNET to recognize you and a country flag. You'll need eight members in case of a full team match, even though most games only use fewer worms. Once you have a team proper along with other fine-tuning settings, you're all set. You may need the latest version of the game so you won't wind up with issues.

Sometime usually around 17:00 to 21:00 GMT are the usual times on those days is when we come down here with a reminder post hours ahead of schedule. Only six people can join a single game at any time unfortunately as far as player cap is concerned. There are two hosts, but only one can be here to host our games when the situation calls for it. If I am around, I always try to find the right amount of fun and seriousness of tactics and take players on amazing locations at the expense of 33% reduced time each turn and round length to reduce darksiding, and everyone's health dips straight to one for a quick finish. When Malmon shows up and is the host just in case, it involves realism by having instant-mines, moderate health but all collectibles have 100% chance of showing up, 33% extended turn and round length, and when time runs out, a nuke drops on everyone with a very fast water rise rate on top of it.

"Lightsiding" is a tactic that involves pushing your team beyond reasoning and safety limits and is the advancing force valuing honor and getting the most kills as soon as the turn starts, but it does come at cost to RNG positioning or bad timing of moves. They worship the Concrete Donkey and save up on supplies until late in the match or round. "Darksiding" is a tactic that is the opposite by playing hide-and-seek, digging holes, erecting defenses as protection and would rather wait for an opportunity to strike than just going for it simply by delaying the opposition for as long as possible. They're not afraid to use superweapons as soon as they grab it, at a cost of being afraid to die so early and often noobish in letting things play out and worships the Buffalo of Lies, yet in Armageddon, it is the title's own weapon itself as a meteor strike. This is often a tactic the A.I. employs in single-player and deathmatches.

I'm down for worms today!

Shoot, I'm game! Anyone else wanna hop in? ^^

I have to set up my old scheme from where I left off, my "Tokyo Express" scheme will be my fallback in case anyone wants for a survival challenge after a regular game.

I'll be there in about a half-hour or so.

Cryin' shame, but no worries! There's always next time. 🙂

Hmm... Seems like we've still got firewall problems. Say Luci, any chance you could look into this for us? :<
