Still~, even if it's a rough week, I'm committed to this project. I read about half of myBB's official docs on interacting with the DB, and took a more in-depth look at your code over the past few hours. [ By the way, can I just mention how much I appreciate the inclusion of a "To Do" list? Seriously, if you wanna detail that further, go right ahead. <3 ]

I'm fluent in PHP, but I haven't touched it in ages. But luckily, I work with SQL every day, changing production data every time some officer missspells someone's name, or hit the wrong option on a dropdown, that sort of thing. I saw you  wrote some functions in /includes/components/members/controller.php, and that's most likely where I'll start... ^^

... most likely when I feel better, though. God... I'm so glad I found this place. If it wasn't for the people here, my family might've still convinced me it was "anxiety"... ><'

i haven't had time to touch it myself for the past week, but will try to keep things going.

the mybb docs aren't super helpful as i'm not using any php from mybb. tho i'd suggest setting up a normal mybb 1.8 installation so u have a db to work off.

So sorry for going radio silent on this for so long. I've kinda been struggling with my migraines as of late. Luckily though, I had some more time to work on stuff these past two days, so after cleaning up my SQL install, I figured I'd try and get this API up and running. Naturally, the config.php file had its strings changed to match a DB user with access to the test forum's database "POMF_DB". I Googled around, and most people pointed me towards tweaking some settings in /etc/mysql, but that didn't seem to solve the issue.

Do you think there might be something I'm doing wrong? I don't wanna break somethin' you've already wrote, but odds are it's something really silly anyways.

Did a little further prodding at the aforementioned issue... It looks like the problem isn't with any code that's being executed after the page loads. In fact, the browser doesn't even get that far. Instead, my copy of the app would throw errors if I included even a simple "echo" statement in the function embedded in a route.

I'm willing to bet it's a problem with the Nette database. I'm gonna look at the documentation and debug it when I have time.

Right now, though, I'm literally about to pass out... My migraines would be killing me if it weren't for all my meds, ahh~... Peace out, y'all.

no longer recoding lewd but am working on potentially migrating to another forum software!

it'll be slightly confusing for people and missing some functionality but it'll work better than current lewd + have more features out of the box
