I believe that there's a way to adjust this in either Regedit or Use Small Icons in Taskbar Properties.

Small icons seem to only adjust the verticle size. The box around the icon is still the same size sadly.

Yeah, it seems there's no permanent solution to adjust the taskbar width since many are saying online that it's by design. Sorry x(

My set up is very OCD ;-; maybe that is why I like the design of apple software. The dock is usually hidden so I can see more of the wallpaper. I also have a rotating slide show of about 40 wallpapers.

I did not even know you could make the dock look like that. Looks cool.

Oh yes. I have recently discovered cDock, it is a really simple but well done application for doing all sorts of cool things to the dock.

All the minimalism eh.
Had the Fences program which sorted my icons in categories with scrollable things so it was cleaner... but it doesn't work on 8.1. RIP.

Oh, that? It's a Rainmeter addon called GameBanners. Pretty cool if you ask me. If you click on any of those banners it runs the game, as long as you have the correct path/steam appid specified. And if there's no banner for the game you want, you can always create one. As I did. ^o
And not really, my system works as fast as ever. I mean, since it's 8.1, it doesn't really work fast at all, but the mods aren't really slowing it any further. If anything, it's the damn system itself.
