I read about Winsplit Revolution, but I read that it's been discontinued. How is your experience with it? I'm just using dwm on Linux and bbLean on Windows.

Before I get berated for having a clean desktop, I'll say now that I have kept a clean desktop for a while now due to picking up the habit a while ago.

Would you say that you were able to "Triumph" over clutter? >.>
I wish my desktop has half as clean as yours. ;_;

That pun was absolutely beautiful. Execution was perfect.
I started small with cleaning my desktop, like moving files into folders, deleting shortcuts to programs/games. If I play a game regularly I'll pin it to my taskbar unless it's on steam, I'll launch it from my library.
Those are my tips!
I wish I could have a cool Linux desktop like you guys, but I need my game support
I have a Windows 7 PC and it's too embarassing to post ;p

You can rice windows. It is not as good as what you can achieve on a linux machine but it is still there. Some people on the /g/ desktop threads have some great windows rice. Personally I just made like a 40gb partition for windows so when I want to play games I just boot into it.

See windows rice is possible. It is cute. Honestly the only thing that gives it away is the music player.
So is "Rice" like a replacement for "windows blinds?" I'm doing some research on the internet and was told to download "Windows 7 Start Orb Changer." Chrome blocks the file and says it's malicious. Before I go to another browser and try it, can someone tell me if I'm doing this right, or if I possibly have the wrong download page?
I'm going here Win 7 Start Orb Changer
PLZ Halp

Ricing is essentially just customizing.

@Lokorfi Thank you so much for that file!!! @[deleted] Thank you for these links! Also, thanks for that android app recommendation. Seriously, it's always the forum of perverts that has the highest quality people in it.
LEWD forums = best forums
I'll post a new desktop pic when I have everything cleaned up a bit. I want my desktop to be @[deleted] clean.

AwesomeWM?
It is AwesomeWM. With something else I'm sure, maybe gnome? Probably not, doesn't look like it.
BUMP!

What dist? (and what will be the one you install next?)
I really like all of the linux themes/whatever they are called. I'd like to get into doing that, but it took me 4 tries to even get Arch running in a VM ;-;

I'm using Debian 7.0 Wheezy (Old Stable) together with Openbox and tint2. I'm not sure what to install next, I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer version of debian (version 8 Jessie) or getting Debian unstable (For more bleeding edge). But I kinda need to reinstall my PC either way, since I broke something and now I can't install new packages ._.
Nice. I'm running Openbox and Tint2 on my computer as well. Though it's Arch, not Debian, so we don't have the same system setup.

There are easier solutions. GUI installers are a thing, and if not Arch, you could always use Debian, or any other distro for that matter.
Openbox w/ Tint2 master race.

Check out Evo/Lution installer or Antergos/Manjaro.

This right here is the entire reason we need a likes plugin.
ALSO UPDATES. SHIT TON OF NEW WALLPAPERS.

... and of course, we have Inori.
