Jesus, losi. You got some ancient history right there.

Alright, I've always wanted to try baking for myself. I'll keep this recipe in hand whenever I get the need to :3

You bet! There's a ton of stains from vanilla extract and other ingredients on there.

What is "lamination"? Seriously bruh, invest in some packing tape and cover that bad boi.

On topic: I'm more of a brownie person. RIP.

Thanks losi, I'm gonna have to make these sometime.

If they had this for 20+ years, how was the recipe printed off what appears to be a chain email from the early 2000s?

Then again I guess that's just under 20 years ago so it makes sense....

But yeah, Thanks for this! I'm making these today! Will post pics.
God damn, that's a complicated recipe though!

Just going to transcribe the recipe here for eveyone's copy-pasting convenience:

that every cookie lover in the United States with an e-mail account has
a
$250.00 cookie recipe from Neiman-Marcus... for free. She replied,
"I wish you wouldn't do this." I said, "Well, you should have thought
of that before you ripped me off," and slammed down the phone on her.
So, here it is!!! Please, please, please pass it on to everyone you
can possibly think of. I paid $250 dollars for this... I don't want
Nieman-Marcus to ever get another penny off of this recipe....

Thanks for the transcribe. What the pencil markings were about were just the base recipe cut in half. The original recipe makes ₁₁₀ cookies. So my family cut the recipe in half.

Alright, I think it's fully transcribed properly now ^^

Here they are! They came out great! I cut the recipe in half a second time because 50 cookies was still a bit much. I also let them stay in the oven for 2 extra minutes cause I made the balls kinda big. Still, pretty good recipe. I want to make it again, but I want to use peanut butter chips instead of chocolate. I think that would go well with the Hershey shavings. Maybe I could even omit all the chocolate and add the raisins and some whole oats. Thanks again for the recipe!
