Give the community an option to choose between square and circle avatars, because making a circle avatar is too much of a hassle!

They used to be squares. Then Pooch switched the theme. I don't completely remember tho.

there are already javascript libraries for cropping images, so it shouldn't be too hard, just edit the template/php to display it

I like to use this site for re-sizing and cropping, quick and easy to use. You can even add some filters to your images as well!

I'm not disagreeing that being able to crop and re-size images on here will be bad, I would find it really convenient and handy to have, it's just that's what I use for a quick edit here and there for sites that don't do it.

A cropping tool wont be added to this software, but idk if you saw in Slack - I'm working on a new software that we'll be using when it's finished. I'll add cropping tool to the "to do" list.
