I'm thoroughly terrified. The way it looks makes me believe that she means what she says. And that is unhealthy. Glad to have you on the issue, Sai, I'm happy you decided to respond and try to get her back on the right track, and I'm thereby saddened it didn't work. But that's how it all is these days, sadly. We have progressed a slight bit too far, and the way things are, people spouting bullshit like this will keep on appearing, and it most likely will not limit to feminists.
I've already met a person trying to justify his opinion that the mushrooms are sexist because they look like perfected penises. What's next? Somebody trying to ban drills because they sexualize walls by penetrating them?

I think feminists can be grateful that the public image of feminism is defined by this kind of people. If people would know the truth about feminist politics, it would (hopefully) be a societal dead end.

Feminists can be grateful that no one really knows the truth about VAWA, the Duluth Model and the decisions made by National Organization for Women.

This wave of feminism has been tarnished beyond repair, therefore I'll never associate myself with it even though I wish for men and women to be given equal opportunities and rights (although as of now, at least in the Western world, it seems as if those things are aimed in womens' favour). She might be over-the-top, but she sure as hell isn't far off from the majority of feminists I know.

Being cringeworthy isn't the same as being cringeowrorthingly wrong. I'lll gladly hang out with weaboos than feminists any day of the week, at least weebs don't spout categorical nonsense at the same rate as feminists, and they usually tend to be kindhearted people.
