lewd.sx -> lewd.ly - thoughts?

So, today I impulse bought the domain lewd.ly.

I quite like the domain as lewdly is an english word, found in pretty much every english dictionary imaginable.

While I understand that some of you wouldn't like the change (for reasons like "i don't like change"), I feel that changing the domain would do well for the community.

Some people don't quite understand the joke behind the .sx domain and write it off as either a poor choice in a domain TLD or as a ripoff of a shitty larger community that used a .sx domain and was also named a four letter word that starts with L. Even if neither are true.

The site would function as normal with the .ly domain, with the .sx domain redirecting to the new domain.

The only issue is that our current banners might have to be edited to show lewd.ly instead of lewd.sx.

Change is fine with me. I do still have the PSD for the banner I made, although you haven't uploaded it ;-;

I disagree with the domain, solely for the reason that lewd.sx seems more fitting. And it feels like you would have to change the name of the forum to fit the domain better.

Someone should make a site wide questionnaire...

Though my answer is "if it fits, it ships!"

I prefer lewd.sx but it doesn't affect much and works either way so I don't really give a shit which we use.

Lewd sex better than Lewdly. I'll approve domain change the day .sex becomes a TLD.

I agree with @[deleted] also I prefer the .sx domain a lot more.

Now that I'm more awake, I can clearly state my opinion on the domain name: Yes.

Simply put, I understand how ignorant and empty-headed most people are (regardless of who they are specifically) and changing lewd.sx to lewd.ly would make the domain much more 'interesting' to say the least. Not to mention saying 'lewd.sx' out loud just sounds weird: "Lewd dot 'S' 'X'" or "Lewd sex"; While 'lewd.ly' is simply read as "Lewdly" (at least this is how I portray it).

I heard the odd mention of you 'copying' SL in a few ways, but this is pushing it.
I am against this because we are not SL. You should know better especially with the past drama between you and Oni, Senpai.

I always assumed .sx went with the lewd theme of the site and meant sex ._.

Also, what other site are you talking about? Just curious.

Anyhow, lewd.ly would make it apparent that there's more to the forums than the lewd section, since lewd.sx makes it seem like a doujinshi site or something. Still, it'll be a hassle to change all the banners, and I don't mind the .sx domain.

Whatever I do to Lewd has nothing to do with SL, how anyone could think I'm copying a site that started as a technology forum and turned into basically no niche, I have no idea.
