The Rat year is almost upon me, not since I visited middle grade age school, so I'm trying to bask in some Chinese dramatic flair. Louis Viallet does a decent job on this piece, even the Fiechters liked it.

Been listening to the Vision of Escaflowne soundtrack recently. I especially love the beginning of this haunting Cello piece:

It was apparently composed by Yoko Kanno's then husbando Hajime Mizoguchi.

I saw Babymetal live last month, when they visited Berlin. The concert was pretty sick (albeit a bit short!). 🙂

True, we had a pretty sweet spot right in the middle. Close enough to the mixing table for having a great sound and far enough from the front to avoid the mosh pits (not my thing tbh).

Well, all their instrumentalists are male ^^
