I'm new

Hello, I have just registered to this website, I'm just looking for a place to discuss anime in general.  I'm not sure if that happens here, but I'll start exploring this site and community at my own pace.

I watch alot of anime but really just consider myself a fan of all forms of animation in general.
Some of my favorite anime are Betterman, Haruhi Suzumiya, and Red Garden, but I have difficulty selecting favorites, there's so many that I like.
I don't read manga, but that could change, there are some that I'm interested in.
I like comic books.
I like studying mythology and psychology.
I like submarines.
I love music and listen to many genres, but I love cinematic orchestral music the most, I've collected many film, anime and video game soundtracks.
I don't play much video games, but I really just need a better machine.
I want to start exploring erotic VNs soon.
I'm totally a lonely, alcoholic loser.

That's me in a nutshell I guess.  I really want an alternative to 4chan to discuss anime.

Right now I'm listening to the soundtrack to Hanayamata.  One of my favorite anime soundtracks is the soundtrack to Ikoku Meiro no Croisee, it has alot of oboe in it.  If you like more of the classical music kind of sound, there's the soundtrack to Ouran High School Host club, I like this one because it has a delightful sound of whimsical sarcasm in it, because the show is making fun of rich people.  Also a BIG favorite of mine is Red Garden, but that music is full of feels.
