Okay so as a previous developer and webmaster I can think of some things that should be added to Desu forums and how it may benefit the forum in simple and expanded ways, so please take good notice of what they are and I hope some of them into consideration of the forum.
A Webmasters Forum
A webmasters forum should be added to those whom develop things such as plugins, templates, and so on, many people like me like to develop such things whilst watching my anime series on the computer or Netflix, its the best way to chill out.
Removal of PI
I don't believe that post Icons serve an actual purpose on the forum other than take up space and look very ugly
also not many people actually use them, so no need for them.
Removal of them is easy just take the {$posticons} out of the templates.
Classic Post View
As I can see the forum used the classical post view but I personally thing it looks better and can be used in good ways.
Use the left an right div codes to make it like this
