Yeah, there's only a few people iirc that do openly talk about marijuana and such. A section solely dedicated to a niche topic, wouldn't bar much discussion for having that section open in the first place.

As the ex-owner of that group mentioned earlier, I can honestly say it doesn't get much attention, even from stoners themselves. It's a good idea in theory, but poor in practice. Just keep it to PM's or something. Hell, even if we generalize it and include all intoxicants (alcohol, prescriptions, etc) then there could be more opportunities for discussion.

As Neko said. Once you create a group you are automatically given a special subforum that every group member has access to. Should work fine in your example, unless for some reason you got something against groups in general.
There's lots of miniscule things we could make into special subforums as per the demand, but the target audience is usually in low amounts and rather niche, so allowing one of them to happen while still disregarding others wouldn't be all too fair, would it. Just settle down with a group and everyone will be happy.
