22/09/2015 - Posts in the lounge no longer increase post count, new banners

If you've noticed that your post count has dropped, it's likely because posts in the Lounge category (and it's subforums) are no longer counted towards your total. Threads in the lounge categories still add to your thread count.

The reason for the change is that myself and the other staff believe that quality is better than quantity, and I think one of the major causes of the shitposting that's been going on is due to the post count directly influencing the levels, which in return grants people access to creating custom groups.

Probably not a nice change for some, but it's a change that's made to be better in the long run.

On to some good news, I've finally processed the backlog of banners and added a bunch of great new banners into the mix.

You should definitely open up the thread, or make a new one for allowing people to submit more banners. With all the new people joining, I'm sure quite a few will add some nice ones.

Ouch. I think my post count went down by a couple hundred, but I can't be sure :T

I feel like there could be another form of quality control, because someone that's really active in lounge should be able to make a group. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Welp, back to the double digits I go, and it took me so long to get to 100 ;_;

I did enough posts in other threads and it saved me from going under 100... But I'm at 105.

WAIT... Doesn't lost in posts ALSO drop your level... YUP! Was level 12 now back to 10 ;_;

The whole point of a post count is to build up your level. Then your level is used to open groups and eventually get to the Waifu group.
