does anyone play Runescape/Darkscape

i just started playing Darkscape because it sounded awesome, and this is after quitting runescape in 2012 when the eoc came out. I'm loving Darkscape so far and how they're going to change the combat system soon. I like the idea you can kill anyone at any time, it just makes it more fun

I get my 10 year cape next year :")

anyone else play

What is Darkscape all about? I've played runescape in the past but I've never heard of the other one.

DarkScape is a variant of RuneScape which features an open PvP environment. There are no "safe zones." Furthermore, there is only Legacy Mode combat, everyone starts at combat level 3, and progress in RuneScape does not affect DarkScape.

All content is available to both free-to-play and pay-to-play players; however, members gain 50% more experience than free-to-play players for all actions (including once-off actions like quest rewards), have double bank space, and keep 1 more item when dying.[1] The use of Treasure Hunter, and other features are disabled.

Guards wander the low-threat areas of the world and will attack anyone who has a skull. There are no guards in high-threat areas.

The legacy combat is about to be changed to more pre-eoc combat though so that's awesome and i can't wait for the update.
You basically do everything you do in runescape, but the whole world is pvp with low threat zones with wilderness levels, mid threat zones where anyone can attack you, but there are guards in cities who will kill skulled players, and there are high threat zones where there are no guards at all and you can be killed by anyone and they may update it to include muticombat areas. Currently if someone is skulled, then anyone else can attack them, but if someone isn't, only pne person can attack him/her

No offense but I'm not interested, thank you for explaining though.

And yeah I'm familiar enough with runescape to know you only get skulled if you pvp (or was that kill someone in pvp).

I'm johnpapajohn on RS but I don't get on much anymore. I play strictly Old School and I'm not currently a member.

I played the 07 version for a short while, but that's about it. Darkscape does sound interesting.

Sometimes I make a new account and play it for a month then give up.

I started playing Runescape like last year. I liked it, but it made my computer slow (I think) so I had to stop playing it. I uninstalled it from my computer too. It was really fun, though.
