Quote system doesn't notify

Pretty much that. If I get a post number (say, 21171), and quote it, the person doesn't get notified. At least I don't.

Also, do you think it would be possible to implement a quote system similar to pururin? I'm not joking, it's good iirc.
You click the >>number link and it takes you to the post, highlighting it in green without reloading the page.

Would it be possible to have quote links that when clicked take you to that post and maybe gives it a white edge without refreshng if it's on the same page?

yep, the citations (>>number things) will be fixed soon-ish.

I'm sort of considering just leaving them until Ecchi is finished.

Please retain the old quote system as well. I simply cannot stand the new quotes in any way shape or form, as any nesting makes it nearly impossible to tell what order to read the content in and to see what is replying to what.
In short, please keep quote tags and simply restyle them or something if you don't like them, but don't remove them entirely.

I keep getting quoted/replied to one of my posts but I receive no notification about it making it kinda hard to keep up a discussion.

I've noticed this as I checked on some threads I had replied and noticed being quote but not receiving alerts for these.
