FK Authority Figure scams out.

Today Asto at ForumKorner (somewhere we advertise lewd.sx) has scammed out and said his goodbye.

This forum has gone downhill with bad decision making and pure neglect. Being promoted to moderator was a friendly gesture but also a useless one. I had no ability to moderate any posts outside of the (dead) graphics section, and could only ban multi accounters and ban evaders when they were sought after. Had I been given the correct permissions I would have probably taken my position more seriously, however my requests to Philly fell on deaf ears. Similarly with award distribution. I felt the pain of having awards missing and wanted to be able to grant them to the 20+ users missing their awards. Believe me, I wanted to make a difference and actually get shit done, but as always, there was the concrete wall known as Philly in the way. Then came the discount threads. Yet another poor decision to sell out 'legitimately'. I'm sorry fellas, but I just don't like it here these days. 

@"Philly", you aren't fit to own/run a forum, period. We all know this. Sell it off to someone who truly works hard and listens to their community. Someone who is active and doesn't come online to post a discount thread every fortnight. @Hobbs in my opinion would be a great candidate to take over. I do respect you as a person, but not as an admin of ForumKorner.

I think that it's absolutely retarded that the people in his "goodbye" thread are basically supporting him and shit. Two people got scammed out of CS:GO knives..

What do you think of someone scamming out when they feel they are done? 
I think it's wrong, and a terrible idea. I have no respect for someone like this at all.

$1k+ deals on that site and i'm prob not going to do anymore. Knives are worthless, names are worthless, most stuff on forums are worthless unless it's clothes (LOL) s/o superfuture (rip))

But yeah, I pretty much agree with you.

I also find it pretty despicable that, as a trusted name and staff, to tear down that built up trust maintained for so many years - not just as a moderator, but as a person as well. I'm not attached to FK in any way, but I really hope from one forum staff to another that the faith the userbase has in the rest of the staff doesn't waver.

People that scam are literally scum, despicable people. I do agree that FK is quickly going downhill though, I've offered to help Philly but haven't gotten much of a response.

Scamming is pretty much non-violent, up front theft.

Scamming is pretty shitty, even to make a point. I understand getting some support, because his point isn't bad, but he still did a shitty thing.

A valid point, but also a cheap and pointless self-justification - not to mention needlessly generalizing the issue. The scammers are rare individuals, and finding one among the staff is a rare occurence. Putting aside the issue that everyone can potentially scam another person, as all it takes is the will to do so and twisted enough conscious, staff are meant to be trustworthy - and he's just shamelessly giving a bad name to this position like it's no big deal.
