Fast Food General Discussion

I worked at McDonald's for 3 years, one of which as a manager, we used to have pickle races all the time. You and another person throw a pickle slice at the tiled wall, and whoever gets the furthest before falling down wins. Yeah, we're pretty lame.

As a McDonald's employee, fuck all day breakfast. It's such a pain in the ass to deal with.

This is the first thing that I thought of when I read about breakfast all day. I have never worked in fast food but I have worked some shifts where breakfast and lunch overlapped and it was a real pain to be constantly switching around

That's fucking hilarious!

Me, myself, I used to be addicted to fast food back when I was a kid. Think: Fish filet sandwiches, fries, and root beer; seven days a week, all year round. Yeah, I wasn't exactly the healthiest kid in school. Breaking a leg and getting a game console didn't help matters much. By time I got to 4th grade, I'd have chest pains every day...

Now that I've lost all that weight, I've decided to eke my way back into it. My fave is definitely Taco Bell, simply because everything else tastes like salt and lukewarm lard.

I mostly don't eat fast food anymore. I ate it occasionally when I was little, now I do sometimes with friends or when other options would be too inconvenient.

Worked on a KFC for a while. Chicken has become spicy as hell, up to the point of being inedible. Compensate it with freezing point soda and you get the worst meal ever.
On the other hand, there's Pedro, Juan y Diego (Chilean Wendy's) who serve a bunch of nice ass burgers. Huge, tasty, big portions of fries and perfect soda or beer.

It's not spicy at all, if anything the chicken is bland as hell. Although maybe that's becuase I was raised in a Mexican household were we had habanero in all our sauces.
Anyways Popeye's on the other hand is top tier with their chicken...and mashed potatoes.

A fast food place that sells beer? :o
Chilean legislation allows to sell beer if you have an alcohol selling permit (which it can be applied to nearly anything)

Just checked out the Pedro Juan & Diego site, and those burgers look mighty as fuck.
I'd totally go there to try some anyday.

It you happen to hang around in Chile, drop me a PM and you'll have the best guide around.

Well, at least the pops were okay. Also Popeye's is godsend. Everything there is delicious.

There's a KFC next to the campus, so it's obviously pretty popular with the students. The deal with it is that they actually serve normal portions, instead of regular miniscule KFC portions like those in malls. In the end, it's still KFC, so it's once-in-a-year experience for me, since I'm not really into fast foods. Still, it's quite nice seeing them not ripping off people for once.

I won a free meal at McDonald's. Gave it to my sister because i hate McDonald's.

Well to parsley answer the OP question, I would think it's where you live in the world and who the manager is... Not all Fast Food joints are the same. Here in the Midwest AND where I live, I have Mc Danks, 2 Subways, Cousins Subs, Chester's (A & W drive in), Pizza Hut and Dominoes all with in a 3 mile radius.

TBH, I just lost my train of though on this... I'm sorry.
