Magic The Gathering

I'm not super sure whether or not this board is specifically for video games or not, but here goes nothing.

Does anybody here play?
Do you play online or with paper?
What are your favorite formats, colours, or cards?
besides thread primer questions, feel free to talk about anything related to the game here.

I'm kind of addicted to the game at the moment. I just attended the Battle for Zendikar pre-release a week or so ago. My friends play a lot of Commander together on Fridays at our LGS, which is really fun. I was thinking about getting into modern too...
To answer my own questions, I play mainly on paper but sometimes on Cockatrice, My favorite colours are white and red, and my favourite card is probably Stoneforge Mystic.
links to my commander decks here.

I'm not really familiar with card games but I got into Force of Will recently if that counts!

I used to own some cards and play with my close friends, but we got bored pretty quickly because we played against the same decks over and over.
I find playing on paper is far more interesting than playing online, mainly because of the community and card collection aspects. The big problem however is to find these communities , which is not easy depending of the place you live ...

I have one question though . How does the Magic game on Steam work ? Is it similar to , uuh let's say Hearthstone? (you can buy boosters with ig money or real money if you want to go fast)

I was really into the game in highschool and a few years after that but got bored of the game and sold most of my cards. All I have now is 1 Johira EDH deck.

Played it like crazy in middle school. Used to go to Saturday magic night. Green elf hoard worm deck.

You are missing a period and you failed to capitalize the first word of your sentence.

this is the internet, neither punctuation nor capitalization are required.
english, however, is required if you want people to understand what the fuck you're saying.
