Music you hear when happy/sad

This is a thread for the music you like to listen to when you're having a nice, poppy day, and songs for when you just want to curl up and weep into the night.

Preferably, post a song that fits for both! It would make this a lot more interesting. If you can't think of any, though, you can post one of wach, or whatever you see fit!

Mine are miss you by bo en (not posting the video because I've done that too many times) and the song below. 

They're very happy songs and great to listen to when I'm feeling cheerful, but they can make me cry very quickly if I'm in a melancholic mood. Probably has to do with the contrast between the music and the lyrics

The Gintama OSTs are really good when it comes to producing sad, melancholy music. As well, as happier songs too. It's quite a big thing for me for an anime to have a compelling soundtrack.

I get really drunk sometimes and scream the lyrics to this and cry.

The Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere soundtrack is chock-full of good mood music; mostly uplifting, seeing as it's a pretty lighthearted show. I listen to this one in particular about every other day to perk myself up. Surprisingly enough, it never gets old.

Well, I usually listen to a lot of Joe Hisaishi and Hirasawa Susumu when happy/sad since their music is so comforting, but specific song wise I guess it would be this:


Don't know why. Just makes me look forward to the future I guess.

When I feel sad and hopeless, I find myself listening to this.

Listening to this doesn't help me.
It ends up making me worse.

When I'm feeling emotional, and I can't quite describe what I'm feeling
it's as if all feelings are mixed together into this one fluffy feeliing in my chest that makes my heart race in a nice way

It's a sad and happy song at the same time... Hard to explain the feeling but here it is. Had found this around a week ago and it's just amazing.
