It means mental people can do bad stuff and mental people can be good. It means follow by what they do not their mental state.

Yeah look at Manson for example, he's insane and he's done some great things. I mean, those people never had to pay taxes or go to their sucky jobs anymore!
But in all seriousness, having a label or a mental condition shouldn't mean that you should automatically be treated like you can't function at all. Some conditions even have very positive points as well.
