I know right. Mushishi's my favorite anime too. Its just...too epic. I can never get tired of watching Mushishi. Have seen the Mushishi special? The one which was released just before season two.
So glad it got a second season. Was unexpected, but made my year.

I love that everybody is sharing, but please read the original post. I'd like to know WHY it is considered to be one of your favorites! It'll help me get to know you.

Mushishi is my favorite because it has the most peaceful premise that I've ever seen. Plus, I'm willing to bet that I can count the number of psychological Anime that are better than it with only one of my hand. Each Mushishi episode forces me to plunge into deep thinking -- about the nature, about the mushi, and about the people. Each of the episode can teach you more than what a big book can in only twenty minutes.
After watching each episode, I have to spend the next day thinking about it. (Yes, I can't watch two episodes of Mushishi back to back.) And after thinking about it, I feel as if I've matured. But then I watch the next episode of Mushishi to realize that I'm still far too childish. While I was watching, everyday was such a cycle of me. I would watch only one episode per day, but still I loved it despite my inability to marathon it. Now that I've finished watching it, I feel as if its teachings will be with me through out my life. Mushishi can cover the smallest things in our daily life to make us realize how important they actually are.
For someone like me, who continuously thrives for knowledge, Mushishi is the best.
Damn it, I feel like rewatching it now. I BLAME YOU BRY QAQ.
