Forever 17!

For real, you know that feeling when you see last year's date and you instinctively assume it's the current year? I feel like I'm stuck in the year I turned 17, and that everything since then has been a weird daydream or a film I have been watching while half-asleep. Maybe it's because a lot of really important changes happened to me that year, and it was the year where I thought, read, saw, and watched things that defined the person who I am today.
Now here's a weird idea: if the current me was born that year and I haven't felt truly alive since then, does that make me, in a way, a ghost?
