I know that 😛.

I had one before, but it was suggested to remove, if I added a shout box I believe it'd remove most activity from the forum itself, so I'm thinking of a way to make this work efficiently.

In my opinion, I don't think it decreases forum activity, but rather increases interaction with one another.
As an individual who uses forums quite frequently, I say the ones who has a Shoutbox allows me to stay on the forums longer.
Besides, it's great to have a Shoutbox where everyone get to scream who is best waifu.

A sb would make me very happy lul
I don't think it will be decreasing forum activity anytime soon either.
-Trust me i would know lol.

An old forum I was a Mod on had a shoutbox at the top of the page so you could talk while using the forums 🙂
I think that would fix your concerns about forum inactivity.

Why? The forum isn't really active enough to justify it
If you had more people posting then yeah, but sometimes I can come back after a few hours to see no new posts

I invited several of the members here thats at least 7 and with a sb you would have 7 more active members because sb in my opinion is much more fun and the people i invited prefer there be one anyway.

also it would keep members. many members might leave and not come back if there is very little user interaction
