Is anyone thinking of purchasing an Ocukus Rift when it gets released? Or any VR headset for that matter? I sure am. VR is the first step into the future of gaming.

I want to get all of this:
Oculus Rift + Cyberith Virtualizer + YEI Technology PrioVR is about as OP as it gets as of now, hahaha.
I mean the gameplay is still very um.. Buggy, sort of? Like it isn't as smooth yet, but it's definitely getting there.
One step closer to SAO.
It's a gimmick and isn't really VR, just screens taped to your head.
I'll wait until VR becomes an actual thing.

I want something similar too. I want to get the Virtuix Omni along with the Oculus Rift just because it'll feel more real.

Haha my brother says the exact same thing. He says he wants to be inside the game not just have your eyes in it.
I can't even take these seriously I just image people walking around blindly crashing into things

It's gonna be amazing, like 10 / 10, can't wait for them to come out, the Virtuix Omni / Cyberith Virtualizer are gonna be quite pricey though, I'd imagine.

What?.. .-.
Crashing into things? What are you talking about?
For the Oculus Rift, you won't actually be walking around, you only move your head to look around.
With the Virtuix Omni / Cyberith Virtualizer, you're pretty much stuck on the platform and just slide.
You don't actually move around.

Like companies don't have any idea how much a game like SAO would be in VR. Like if many badass companies partner up to make a game like that then it can be possible. As of now I started a Dev journal on this game I wanna create. It's an VRMMORPG called "HyperMelee" I haven't started on the project yet but I've started developing ideas for it which is better than nothing at all. SAO inspired me to make a game like this and hope to achieve this project.

Yeah, but an issue with making a game like SAO would be copyright, they'd need permission from the original developers of the manga / anime.
Of course they could make something similar, but making something based off something else like that, copyright can be a bitch.
There is one game that I believe has gotten permission and is trying to make it, which is Age of Aincrad, you should look it up.

Yeah I see what you mean. Dude! I've been registered to the Age of Aincrad forums for a while now I can't wait for it!
