What's the last series you dropped, and why?

Sometimes a series is boring, sometimes it's cringetastic and just needs to be put down for its own good; what's the last series you gave up on and why?

Last week I gave Shirobako the classic three episode trial and bailed. The series itself wasn't cringe, it was just bad. That said the fans are top cringe. I don't really tend to like anime and manga that are about anime and manga or anime and manga clubs; the otaku culture surrounding it seems to have such a raging self-referential boner that some members don't even like anime because it's good but because it's anime, so an anime about anime brings in the worst of them.

I dropped Monogatari Second Season because it was getting too strung out.

It felt like it just went from character to character with no real problems. When they'd find something to fight for, they'd fight and win.

Nothing really exciting about that.

Might pick it back up though.

I've only dropped 3 anime. The most recently being Mekaku City Actors because i couldn't take it, it was super boring, and Girlfriend BETA was too moe I couldn't handle.

I dropped Mirai Nikki. I just couldn't watch it at all. Something about it was extremely unappealing.

I don't remember what it was called, but there was this one series where the girls had extremely huge (we're talking human body sized) breasts. Dropped into the first 10 minutes.

Mis I think you might mean Eiken as for me last one I really dropped was Kaleido Star mostly because I couldn't handle the Voice acting in either version.

Yep, you're right. Too much PLOT for me to handle.

The last anime I dropped was Fractale. Watched 3 episodes of it. It was... kinda bad.

Last one I dropped was Kancolle. Right on the second episode.
I really had high hopes for that anime, but the sheer amount of CG drove me mad.

Oh noooo. I was looking forward to watching that series, too.

the CG isn't as bad as other animes though

Full Metal Alchemist. I know it's supposedly really good but off the bat I couldn't really get into it.

Dropped Eureka Seven because the characters just got progressively worse.

Coming from someone who finished it, I was more interested in the other antagonist(?) couple's development and relationship than the actual main characters.

Girlfriends (kari)

total boring shit. It tried to be at but nah, not succeding

I've watched over 1000 anime by now, yes, i have a life. Don't judge me people, in any case, I've dropped a lot of anime series. I tend to drop them at around episode 7 or 16 depending on how long the series is. Sometimes i go back and finish, sometimes i don't.

I recently dropped sket dance at episode 32 after hearing no ships happen.

So fuwq that.
