This is my personal opinion, and it might be tl;dr, so I'll put it in a spoiler box for you.  

That was really triggering! Sorry if it annoyed you, I get it!
Tl;dr, Drugs are fine just don't hurt yourself. You do you.

I personally believe those who don't do drugs are those who are truly elevated, so I don't participate in drugs. I feel like most use drugs to survive or make it through this cruel world, so those who don't do them ultimately are the superior human being.

Most things are fine for you in moderation. I smoke here and there.

Psychadelics are interesting but dangerous (sometimes), amphetamines aren't that interesting to me.

Don't personally do any drugs, nor do I have it planned. With that said, I won't frown at someone if they smoke the Mary J. Some people have legit issues that it can help relieve, cue anxiety issues and cancer complications, all the while being natural. Not so much for the other stuff, though.

My stance is that drugs should be available to those who seek them for it is a victimless crime, of course many will disagree with this argument. I feel it is a civil liberty for people to consume  what they please. Now this is all in moderation and control, many drugs arent for some people, they could be sucked in and thats where recreation and use as tools to better yourself, turns to dependency and seeking constantly, doing things one wouldnt normally do to score their fix and not feel sick from withdrawal. The war on drugs has done nothing but create unneccesary violence just to feed money to higher ups (private prisons, drug testing labs, Federal Reserve) and to their own pockets (police, DEA, ATF). For these people who need help with the disease of addiction, more of our tax dollars should go to treatment for this epidemic. I whole heartedly believe the Silk Road was a great thing for the safety of recreational drug use creating no dangerous situations going to the street to buy your chosen substance and not even being able to trust what you bought and having to fear youll be robbed or killed. Even moreso the use of Bitcoins and anonynimity, it just puts us closer to weakening the power of the Federal Reserve and the constant dept that this system has put us into, and the NSA from knowing every action we take in our digital lives. In the end stop feeding corporations and banking cartels our livelihood by taking away our freedoms to use what we like and have their privacy, when we should focus on freedom, on harm reduction, and treatment for those who struggle.

I've always been really wary about any sort of psychoactive drugs like antidepressants and Adderall, and even swore off caffeine entirely for a good year and a half midway through college. But recent events have forced me to reevaluate my position.

I still wouldn't take antidepressants if you paid me, and I firmly believe that ADHD is over-diagnosed to the benefit of drug manufacturers; but if a medication has incidental side-effects that elevate your mood or help you concentrate better, I'd reckon I'd be okay with taking it.

IMO, anyone who dismisses something without having any experience or understanding of it is the actual worst kind of person. This is how we get "alternative facts" and all the societal chaos that comes from such reality denying attitudes.

Its pretty ironic that those who do this with drugs are the most in need of having their minds expanded! After all, no one can reasonably deny recreational drug use expands your mind; but maybe some people need to keep their minds tiny so they can feel right even if they aren't?
