How do you unwind?

Posts

Hey all,
Since the dawn of man, man has been getting stressed out. What are your personal ways of relieving stress and unwinding after a rough day?
Personally, I play an obscene amount of video games or Skype a friend about absolutely anything.

I do about the same thing. Play video games til I drop. Or I watch a TV show or movie. Then I pass out on my bed while listening to music.

Sadly, I can't often sleep with music unless I'm about to pass out which is sad due to me having a large number of music that would be great to fall asleep to.

I watch people on YouTube enjoy themselves game.

I am a pretty boring person.

I've always wondered about let's plays... why watch someone play when you can play for yourself?

Though you're right, it can actually be entertaining to watch on occasion... except PewDiePie. We don't go there.

This will sound pretty petty of me, but here's my reason.

I mostly watch let's plays/walkthroughs of games with extremely vast single-player campaigns (The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, Alien Isolation, Fatal Frame, etc.). They tend to be mostly horror genres, but the reason being is that, while I love horror games, I know that the shock value/playability for most types wears off after the first playthrough - and I'm stuck with a $50-60 game that I probably won't play again. Watching someone play these games gives me the thrill of the game's story, but sacrifices the gameplay itself.

Usually though, I do find some nice games they've played that I've bought myself after seeing them do it.

I arrive home, I sit on the computer, and do what I'm doing here.
Yeah.

Yeah.

I also do this if someone isn't already on the computer.

way I tend to relax is cooking, reading books, watching AMV's, or going down to the range and unloading a few clips.

Hours of procrastination. I come home from work planning on doing things like coding, but I end up procrastinating instead.

Usually I just play vidya and talk shit in chat. Sometimes when I'm in between forums I tend to go into team speak servers as if I'm totally part of their community. Then we become best friends forever.

I used to play games a ton, but then my computer ended up too low spec and ghey to play any of the latest games, so I ended up getting more into movies than I'd ever been before. So far this year, I have never gone a full 24 hours without watching a movie. I have watched 51 films this year, 46 of which I had never seen before. So, Movies has now become my main way to relax, masturbating also a somewhat decent way to wind down, and am also currently building a super sexy PC which means soon I'll start gaming a lot again, though now I've really gotten into movies I'll still be watching them a ton.

a month later

Play chess, listen to music, play video games, just stare at the ceiling while in deep thought, watch hentai, watch anime, read manga, read hentai, chat on the Internet(who even does that m8?)

Hm, listening to some music, watching TV-Series/anime and swallowing it until I get a heart attack and die! 😃
