Your Favorite Film

For me, it'd probably have to be Treasure Planet. The level of imagination they put into the art, character, and prop designs is amazing, even by Disney standards; and it added just enough twists to the original story to to be creative in its own right. Reading the book a few years later, I transplanted the depictions of the characters into the story playing in my mind. In retrospect, I'd venture to say it was the best novel I've ever read.

I also played the PC game Battle at Procyon; a sort of semi-official sequel to the film. Though I never finished it, it was surprisingly good due to being made by the same guys behind Homeworld: Cataclysm.

I really loved bad grandpa. And that along with jackass.
Was an amazing watch. I'm more into comedy when it comes to films.
Anime is my main.

I think it would be Inception for me - solid casting, great music, and excellent choreography throughout. And if I get to add a second for anime related it would be Sword of the Stranger.

For me, it's a toss-up between The Babadook and Inside Out.  Not only are they both fantastically well-made, but I can also relate to them all too well.

For me it's a tie between the Rocky Horror Picture Show and A Clockwork Orange.
I flipping love those movies.

Film was my biggest hobby for about nine years, so it's never easy to pick just one. I feel like my favorite changes every day. The movie I've seen the most amount of times is Gummo, but I'm not sure if it's my all-time favorite.

It's starting to become a pretty big hobby of mine as well. I bought myself an old super 8mm camera haha to try film around. It's cool with that old vintage feel, if anything it's good for music vidoes. That's actually something that's been on my mind for a while.. get into film-making. Get a DSLR or Mirrorless camera and starting making short movie. (I don't want to be in them myself though. I am very camera shy). One my dreams lately is to travel the world and make a film about it. Or at least document all the different culture. (RIP, no money though).

And yes, I agree. It's a totally changing form with all favorites. Impossible to pick one sometimes...

I used to want to be a director after I took a photography class that used actual film in college I could NEVER imagine doing it again. Though I am thankful for getting to have that experience. There's something magical about knowing that you're creating art with nothing but light, and it gives you a new appreciation for the medium. I just had the realization that I enjoy experiencing art a million times more than creating it.
