What game are you playing? Thread

Was feeling a little nostalgic, so played some Renegade X. It seemed to be more fun the last time I tried it!

The only game over you get is if you let your last character (or founder as the only one to start with) succumbs to the Grim Reaper. You can also get a game over if all your children get taken away for even just one neglected child/toddler/infant and there's no teen or older caretaker available.
The Sims
I'm currently doing a 10-generation matriarchy legacy challenge with all expansions and stuff packs, and then I have them own all properties, ending up being super filthy rich in the millions.

There are a few I'm currently playing.

Right now I'm playing through the Metro Redux series on Steam, preparing for the 3rd game to arrive in 2018; Metro Exodus.
So far I've finished the first game, Metro 2033, and just started Last Light. Having some issues playing through due to low frames after playing for bit, seems like the only fix is it restart the game.

As for multiplayer games, I've been getting back into Planetside 2 (Briggs server) and kinda just waiting for another game similar to Ghost in the Shell: First Assault to arrive, since it's closing in December.
Got my eye on Black Squad, but there are no AU/OCE servers available, but not too keen on the whole mechanics of the game (personally), feels really clunky.

Other than that, still playing osu!, but more casually as I keep losing motivation to improve or to gain ranks. So I'm just messing around now, switching it up with a bit of Mania here and there.

Some other games I might as well mention just on the side:

Surprisingly? Watch_Dogs 2. It helps that they did a complete one-eighty from the tone of the first game; instead of a dispossessed father out for revenge, you're now a twenty-somethin' tech whiz who wants to bring down a corrupt corporation. Your allies are more like wisecracking comic book characters than actual people, but that just adds to the charm. Combine that with the possibility of a completely nonlethal stealth playthrough, and you've got a pretty fun romp for at least a week or two.

Right now I'm part of the way through Final Fantasy V. The Job system is cool and fun to play around with but the combat has really been trying my patience, especially coming off of VI and VII. Bosses are easily the most grueling of the games in the series I've played. I think I've come out of the majority of them a mere inch from death.

As of late? Lots of One Finger Death Punch. That sorta bite-sized, mindless entertainment is the perfect way to unwind after a long day of work. ^^

Ooh yeah! Thanks for remindin' me cutie; I completely forgot I started a playthrough of New Vegas the other day.

'Course, now I wanna play VA-11 Hall-A instead... ;-;

Final Fantasy 14 has a login campaign going so I got a few free days of play for that.

Played a few hours of a game called Oxenfree. Special thanks to Sakuya Izayoi for the giveaway headsup. I decided at the very beginning to roleplay as a mute which has had interesting results so far.

Nah, Rockstar takes a while but they do deliver. Two-thousand-never is reserved for things like Cyberpunk 2077 and Kingdom Hearts 3.
