Lewd Book club

Posts

Alright a group has been created for this book club. Every one who said they were interested has been added.

The groups name is Ranobe : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_novel

Why Ranobe:

>A light novel (ライトノベル raito noberu) is a style of Japanese novel primarily targeting middle- and high-school students (young adult demographic). "Light novel" is a wasei-eigo, or a Japanese term formed from words in the English language. Such short, light novels are often called ranobe (ラノベ) or LN in the West.

It is open for anyone to join!

Any one interested in this? A classic book club, we all choose a title read a set amount weekly of it and get together to talk about what we have read. Classic book club. I figure the twist would be we read light novels because well this is a manga/anime focused community and a lot of manga and anime start off as light novels.

I guess reply if you are interested, basically you gotta be able to: read a set amount weekly, gather to discus it at a set time weekly, and be willing to read the club selected book (which will be based on suggestions and voting).

I hope we can get enough people interested in this to do it.

Reply below with availability times for meetings and light novel/ book suggestions, you don't have to provide a suggestion if you wanna just go along for the ride.

I'm interested, but it depends on how much we have to read i'm usualy avaliable on weekends and weekdays if no schoolwork is to be done.

You have my attention. Obvious suggestion would be Kizumonogatari.

Same as Gumpyyy, but I'm definitely interested! As long as we keep the selections short and have a good time, I'm all for it.

As far as recommendations go, I'd suggest Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere. The books themselves are a bit long, but the world is really imaginative and despite a complex plot, the series as a whole never takes itself too seriously. Oh, and it has a kickass anime.

Alright well we have a bit of suggestions so far, lets give it one more week for people to join.

Then we will do two rounds of voting next week, round one all the sugestions, round 2 top 3 vote winners.

Gumpyyy it will most likely just be 1 to 2 chapters a week, depending on the size of chapters and light novel. I would like it if we didnt spend more than a month per book, so lets say 8 chapters in a book it would be 2 chapters a week.

Should be doable for me.

I'm interested in this as well as I've been trying to get back into reading.

I'm in.

Now I shuould probaply think about some kind or ebook reader.

Filling up, wondering if I should make a group for this or not to avoid spilling spoilers to other users and provide a less time stringent format for discussion. Originally I was thinking of finding a good time once a month and doing chats after finished novels, in a group setting it could be new threads weekly seperated by chapter and book title. I dunno any input on this matter is appreciated.

Make Lewd Book Club a group?

I'd love to be apart of this. I've been wanting to read God's Debris. As for when, maybe once a week.

I don't read enough actual books to participate. The idea is really nice, though~.
