Hi, came here from an ad on 8chan. I'm amazed to see it's a "proper" forum, I thought those things were all dead, and that all the "cool kids" were having their discussions on Tumblr, even though that site is really poorly set-up for any type of discussion or interaction.

It kind of hurts me as well.
I wouldn't mind platform dying if alternatives were just as good. But for some reason people prefer facebook or said Tumblr.
Which are totally fine on some fields, but terrible at others.
