I traveled a lot this summer by myself. I went to Boston, DC, North Carolina, and Seattle.

Backlash I wanted to go to Southeast Alaska with a friend but it ended up costing too much.

malmon I was in Boston to attend an anime convention. I was in North Carolina to go to a place a friend who died over two years ago recommended me. I was in Seattle to meet another friend.

quintuplicate Hmm, not especially. If there's somewhere I'd like to go, then sure, I think about it, but I wouldn't make it its own task.

quintuplicate I do all the time. I always have vacations planned out and I am always waiting in anticipation for them. Next week I'm gonna spend the weekend in nyc going to electronicon and hangin out. Then the big one I'm waiting for is October 7 where I will be taking a week long vacation to NYC, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts with my girl. She's not really my partner. It's really complicated. tbh. We go on vacations a lot though. After that then i'll prob do something around christmastime. Then next year im hoping to get a surgery which will give me a few weeks off work where i'll find somewhere to go. Then in fall next year i'm gonna go to las vegas and a trip up the california coast.

These are the things i think about every day to help me get through. rn i'm in a really rough spot in living and my job and i need all the help I can get to get through it. I have to stay here for min 1 yr bc of a lot of reasons but i'm not havin fun here xd

I flew down to the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs late last year to visit family. While I didn't get to engage much in tourism - it was a sad occasion - one thing that struck me was the diversity of the local community. My extended family (practicing Muslims) had no problem finding halal steakhouses, a well-appointed mosque to pray in, and other lifestyle necessities. It's a far cry from what one might expect. Personally, I'm quite happy for them.

Last year and this year so far I've done a decent amount of traveling. Most notably a massive road trip throughout the mid-atlantic and new england area of the US. Baltimore, Philly, NYC, Albany, New Haven, Providence, Boston, Portsmouth, Portland...and a lot of nature in between. The Appalachian mountains in the backwoods of New York are very beautiful in the winter, and I really miss the smell of sea salt along the craggy shores up in Maine....not to mention the amazing food. I love the multi-cultural nature of all the aforementioned places, it's something I really wasn't used to seeing where I grew up out west. Other than that though, I recently went to an island full of alligators off the shore of Charleston. For being actual dinosaurs, they are actually pretty cute and lazy...

Noriko I wana make it up to maine!!!!! i used to live in boston and would go to the surrounding states for the mountains but never maine. maybe this year.

But on Tuesday im goin to cali!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

COUPLED It's very peaceful up there, considering how small Portland is. I like it, my kind of state. Be sure to get some shellfish if you make it. I imagine Canada is like Maine extended, but I'm yet to go so what do I know...but have fun in California. I haven't been to the west coast in a long while, but soon I'm going to have the opportunity so I might revisit if anything piques my interest...

COUPLED Oh hell yeah. Hope you're having fun on your trip. Hiking / backpacking is so much fun lmao. If I visit anywhere without dabbling in the nature if feels like I haven't really seen it thoroughly, you know? The one good thing about this country is just how much there is to explore within it
