Yeah, it's a pretty popular artist I would say. I have a copyright claim on one of my videos where the artist's main channel only has a few hundred subscribers.

You know most artists make jack shit even if they're "pretty popular" right? Only the biggest artists out there earn enough to make a good buck out of this, even a band like Lamb of God (who had a #2 charting album this year) still struggle to make rounds even though they're playing large venues all over the world.

It's just amusing because you always do, I don't need proof or anything. I mean of course I'm jelly, I come from a poor as fuck family and struggle to get by on a weekly basis but that's besides the point.

Really puts into perspective just how much Google ought to be grossing from this traffic, if to be able to pay OP such an amount. Especially considering they're making money not just from the displayed advertisements, but also the contribution to aggregate data.
