So, uh, basically, Valkyrie Crusade is a really nice mobile MMORPG (?) that @[deleted] and I have been playing.

I think the best way to describe the game is to call it a cross between pokemon (the card game) with waifu tier qts as the pokemon and the Clash of Titans MMORPG; idk which one existed first but I definitely prefer Valkyrie Crusade.

In Valkyrie Crusade you can collect really cute cards like these:

It looks cute, but it also looks like something that I would personally get a bit bored of rather quickly :/

maybe you could use an android emulator. <3

I don't think you'd even need an emulator. There's an x86 build of Android 😉

But android needs the linux kernel still. Even if you are on linux you need a special kernel build, so it still needs to be emulated.

I'm not sure that that's what emulation is. You could in theory just install the Android kernel + os on your desktop PC - no emulation required. Afaik, emulation is when you're simulating a different hardware architecture.

but why would you do that over installing an android emulator? in what way is having to boot into Android to play one game convenient?

Oh nonono, it wouldn't be more convenient at all. I'm just saying that it wouldn't be called emulation. It would probably run well enough in a VM.

Well that's what a VM is, it's emulating an x86 computer. I count a VM as an emulator.

Always heard shit about it. Maybe it's time for me to play it.
