Random thoughts thread

Second half of my 1-on-1 tournament season won't start until I attain at least Level 25.

Over the course of the remaining eight rounds, this is when I am stretching my already superior writing ability to another dimension against high and god tier opponents. Battles typically in the second half will be longer and more intense than in the first half.

I must say I don't like the office. Perhaps it'd be different if the place weren't so dimly-lit. I feel like a caged bird, desperate to spread my wings and soar upon the breeze.

My fellow prisoners seem to share the sentiment. They work hard in spurts. They light up whenever we talk, save when I wish to ask something of them. But otherwise they carry themselves with the mild contentment oft used to mask indifference. As far as I've seen, they mostly while away the hours reading on their phones or chatting amongst friends.

That's the same reason I quit my old job, I just sat in my cubicle all day and pretty much tried not cry. My new job is exhausting and honestly sucks but I don't wanna kill myself at work anymore so I guess it's better.

There's something rather calming about luxuriating in an empty shopping mall. It's fun to imagine the lives of passerby. ^^

Aand I bump into a pair of amateur exhibitionists. Sweet.

Bethesda says they won't release until the right tech is out. Modern tech isn't worth their game. They want it to be revolitionary like how Skyrim was

I've heard people speculate that we won't see another TES game as long as they're trying to push Elder Scrolls Online. And as long as they can port Skyrim to new systems and still have it sell relatively well they probably won't see much incentive to make a big new title. Though this stream is courting far too hype for just a remaster of FO3/NV or FO1/2 so it's anyone's guess what the hell Bethesda is actually up to.

From a graphical standpoint, I can see how that might be the case. But everything else could already be improved on massively, such as the stability and moddability of the game engine, sounds, lights, physics.
It's been a long time since 2011!
