Spent all saturday sleeping and sunday doing nothing really.

also for anyone to answer should i reread the stand or the reread the dark tower series.

In my opinion The Dark Tower became rather meh from the fifth book onward, so I'd recommend The Stand. That said, I do still love to reread the first three Tower novels from time to time, there's something really magical about them to me.

I'm supposed to be dieting but I really just want to buy a large pizza and eat all of it right now

I should stop watching anime shows that make me feel like crap after watching them. However, I also think these are the best shows because they make you feel some form or way from the story they tell. It's moving, but I'm not sure I want to be moved at the moment.

Maybe you should just set aside those kinds of shows for when you're in the mood to feel emotional. I think it would be better than cutting them out altogether.

It's weird. I'm never truly in the mood to feel overly emotional, but I absolutely relish how I feel after I watch an anime that makes me feel emotional. I'll never cut them out because I think they are some of the better shows I've watched.

Let me put into context why I even posted that. Typically shows that make me feel like crap after watching them are shows like Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. They have a beautiful story, great characters, and make me feel very strong emotions when it all comes to an end. However, this time the show is Kuzu no Honkai and it left me feeling completely disgusted. I felt very despondent after watching it because I hated the story, I didn't like any of the characters, and I couldn't relate to anything at all. It's not the sad happy feeling I typically get after watching an anime that makes me feel very strong emotions. It's almost an alien like feeling because I've never had an anime end where I felt disgusted with what I had just watched.

I hope that helps explain my reasoning behind what I said. I won't stop watching them, but I feel like I should stop watching them because of this alien like feeling that I'm finding hard to grasp.

do not worry not only was what you said was not long-winded or pretentious it was insightful. it sounds like you were enthralled by the author which is something that i wish more people could experience.

Makes sense to me. I've watched a lot of anime that I thought had bad writing and characters, and usually I end up laughing them off and forget about them after a while. You will more than likely eventually find something that you find amazing, and it makes watching all the horrible stuff worth it.

I've had two weeks to write a presuasive speech, and of course I haven't done it and I don't even know what to write about.

the trick to persuasive writing is not giving a fuck about how you feel. just pick a controverial topic and find someone who has a hard stance on it. then you can read there reasoning for why they picked what ever side and bam you are pretty much done. the rest is paraphasing from the person and making it sound like you came up with it. just try and use fact not personal experiance.

Ms. Sun clearly did not consider commonly used file systems when creating that album title

Nine times out of ten, a little praise can make someone's day.

This is certainly true. You don't even have to praise them. Something as little and effortless as telling a complete stranger to have a nice day can make the difference, even if you don't mean it. That's why I usually always tell people to have a nice day/evening when interacting with people in public, or simply reply with "you too" when they tell me the same.

I can't go to sleep anytime soon, because whenever I'm trying to put my head on a pillow and close my eyes, I hear a low-pitched "huehuehue", forcing me to wake up. This is my first true sign of my despair.
