As far as old laptops go, ThinkPads seem to be the ones I've seen around the most. They should be pretty easy to maintain/upgrade, so they might be something to look out for. As for programming, I can help you out with C (and some C++) if you like ^_^. I don't expect Python will be particularly straightforward to get up and running on p9.

I've been writing short stories for years, but it only just now occurred to me that nearly everything I've ever written is about a child. That's not really surprising, on second thought. It probably has something to do with my horrible childhood, my need to project those experiences and/or imagine alternate childhoods as a form of escape. I just hope it doesn't make my work too repetitive.

I have been searching everywhere for a 2000-2005 WW2 PC RTS game. I have been looking for about six years now. At this point i'm pretty sure I made the game up.
