I wish my days were busier, I don't concentrate nearly enough

People are can be so nice when they're trying to sell you something. I'm sure they're wonderful in their spare time too, though. ^^

I do wish I had more opportunities to talk to people face-to-face. Chatting up strangers and store clerks is fun, but they've usually got jobs to do. >.<

Hello all!

I'm not sure if there's a better thread to post this in, but I am in Japan at the moment and will be for at least two years as I am going into education to hopefully get a work visa here.

I am in a dormitory which only has WiFi in the lobby, so my use of Lewd might be a bit limited for a while. I do hope to buy a WiFi router or something like that within a few weeks.

I will try to post some nice pictures of game centers or other otaku stuff.

True, after so much time in a room talking by the internet i met a intelligent man and we talked while he work. Really good.

It is just a matter of I will wait for one of them to show up and we will see, otherwise I would have been fantasizing concepts and sleeping all day.

That would be super nice if I could do that, except I somehow manage to effortlessly get everything wet (especially with my hair) after I'm done showering, even if I think I dry off good enough.

Every major social institution the US seems to be a scam. From college to the Army.

"Oh, you literally risked life and limb for a pointless war to line billionaires' pockets? Fuck you, you don't get shit from the VA! And good luck getting insurance for that PTSD you picked up in Afghanistan. Ooh, but don't worry. If you end up homeless or destitute like the rest of our recruits, we'd be glad to take you back."

What bothers me is that a large contingent of vets end up as far-right corporatist nutjobs who fly Gadsden Flags and own hella guns. Part of me wants to write these people off as having never seen a day of actual combat in their tour of duty, but the Dems sure haven't helped, what with their demonification of veterans, guns, and their neoliberal economics.

Anyways, apart from that, I think I am ready to kickback in my off-season, which should last well through the spring now that the first half is all said and done. <3

EDIT: I'll elaborate since this makes me feel bad for saying this. I've known him all of my life, but lately his immature attitude and obnoxious behavior has been too much for me and my friends in Discord. I know this makes me an asshole but I guess that's how life works.

People change, and occasionally not for the better. I know it hurts, but if what you say is true, it's likely for the best.

You're not alone. I've got a friend from High School who I ended up catching up with in College. Past 3-4 years have been alright hanging out with him and what not, but lately he's kinda become a dick. He'll initiate conversations like "Hey tubbs" because I'm overweight and then proceed into a "your mom" joke. I've heard this shit for 3-4 years, after a while it becomes less funny and more "you're just kinda being a dick now." He also has a knack for acting like a child when you don't want to hangout or do something.

I don't think it makes us assholes for wanting to not be friends anymore with these people. If they can't grow up and be less obnoxious then it's time to allocate energy and time we'd spend with them to friends that matter more.

Monday mornings maim me mercilessly, making my moronic mind melt most miserably.

I really hope my saucepan's handle doesn't melt in the oven
